The get subscribers widget takes far far far too long to load. Ideally this would be just a form instead of a widget. Then it would load at the same time as the rest of the page. There must be a better way to make it work and store the details of those that subscribe without slowing pages down.
This also would help Wix sites in Google’s Serps. As it would make the site faster, and so in turn making it more user friendly, which affects rankings. Google hates pages that take time to fully load.
It’s important for my site to get subscribers, but I had to take the 2nd subscribers box of the footer of my page, to try and speed it up a bit. It’s still painful with just one box.
