Getting A 404 error to the Reset Password email link

I have an issue with the forgot password link that gets send to my email. When i click it it doesn’t work and it takes me to a 404 page. I’m using a custom log in form. Also when i click on the forgot password button and it takes me to the reset password page if i refresh it, it shows me the reset password page. Why can’t i access the reset password page through the link? Thank you in advance!
