Before the famous meetup of Paris (or I would be present) and holidays I wanted to share my remarks on the Wix Arena.

I get a lot of lead (in 10 days I received 30), but I realize that it is not the number of lead that counts, but the quality.

I fully understand that Wix is ​​a platform that attracts a lot of people and more and more in a “DIY” mode as it is the concept, but some users who make requests are not aware of market prices.

I would therefore like to be able to simply add options that seem obligatory to fill out before making an application:

Here are for me the 3 mandatory fields

" Are you a company ?" It just seems obvious to me as a question! a lot of requests are students … and I imagine a lot of WIX Expert here work in B2B.

" Telephone number ?" Too many requests come from wacky mail, and I do not know if with antispam systems our mails are received from the end customer. Finally, on this point, by definition customers do not really know what they want, so instead of losing 30 minutes to write a standardized email, a simple phone call could solve the understanding of the need.

" Budget " it is necessary that the customer answers this question, even if he has no idea. I can understand that the customer does not know the price, but he knows at least its limit! It is therefore strategic that a response be made to this field.

I will just bring some more suggestions on what I would like to see evolve in the wix arena:

limit the number of expert wix per request

  • Some prospects, told me to have received “a lot” of requests from Wix expert following their request on the platform. They explained to me beings “under the water” and not to understand. I think we should limit the number to 3 maximums wix experts

Respond to the request directly in the wix platform

  • Could we imagine being able to respond to a client “directly” from the wix platform? The ideal thing here is that the end customer who has his wix interface can see a notification as if the latter had received a notification for email for example. Here it would be our answer to his request! So nothing comes out of the platform. You ask that the Wix experts answer in 1 working day! You would see it right away since the messages would be registered in the platform.

Too many possibilities affect opportunities

  • The last modifications on the wix arena are very beautiful graphically and I congratulate you for that. On the other hand, many customers are lost in the innumerable possibilities of requests and categories. Before there was none, I find that today there is too much possibility. The target of WIX is 50% of companies under 20 people, let’s make simple no?
