For some reason, I’m having terrible loading speed issues, but they’re mostly limited to mobile.
I created a ‘test’ page on my website to try to find the issue, since I thought it might be the animations, or some of the velo code, or anything really. However, even with almost everything removed from the test page, the page speed score is an abysmal 53/100. From what I can tell, the issue seems to be code-related, as that’s where the delays are coming from. Here’s a screenshot from the page speed tests:
As you can see, the loading speed delays are almost exclusively from (static.parastorage.com), which from my understanding is packaged by Wix. Is this normal??
The page I’m using for the test to find the problem is essentially just 2 sections and a footer. All there is is one image, some text, and some svgs - the page itself should be incredibly fast to load. However, it has a horrible score:
And the funny part is, the more I remove, the worse the score gets! Here’s the score after i removed the only picture on the page, which means it’s now JUST text and 2 SVGs:
For shits and giggles, I removed everything except just a single section with text, nothing else. Here is the result, a beautiful score of 65/100 with a speed index of 5.4s and an LCP of 4.2s.
I’m not sure how it’s possible for the loading speed to be this bad.
Can someone help me figure this out?
For anyone wondering, the URL to the site is (outbrnd.com), and the test page is https://www.outbrnd.com/home-2-1
Also, if you do check out the site, please note my homepage is a bit of a mess as I’m testing out different things to see if I can fix the issue.
Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks!
