Is there a way I can rebuild a website that was originally on WordPress in Wix whilst retaining SEO Ranking?
You can rebuild your WordPress website in Wix or in any other platform. (There is no auto rebuild tool in Wix if you are looking for that).
Your SERP rankings may change. All I can say is as always “it depends” it can even go higher or lower.
SEO rules of Google will stand same. So when you switch to Wix maybe there will be some features that you didn’t have in WordPress or you didn’t installed/using on WordPress and this will be +1 for you.
Or you will have some changes that’s bad for SEO and this will be -1 for you.
What I can recommend is rebuild your site first and when it’s ready switch to Wix test it for 30 days. If you want to go back just go back to your old WordPress site.
As an extra like 3 years ago I’ve created same content on both Wix and WordPress and WordPress was ranked on 1 but Wix version was ranking at 2 and even sometimes Wix version was taking first spot.
Search “digital vibrance nasıl açılır” on Google you will find a Wix website (with wixsite domain) and it’s still on the first page like a joke xd. Other post is not still existing.
What I want to say is if you content is good enough I think you won’t lose your rank instead you may even go higher.
Focus on content migration. Ensure that all your text, images, and meta tags are accurately moved to your new Wix website. This step helps maintain the essence of your SEO strategy.Keep a watchful eye on your SEO performance throughout and after the migration. Monitor your rankings, traffic, and user engagement. If you notice any dips, be ready to make adjustments to your SEO strategy. If you’re feeling a bit overwhelmed or want professional guidance, you might want to explore the resources available at www.pixelocity.com. They have insights into digital marketing that could be beneficial for your migration process.
I also have a same question but your answer helps a lot.
