My Database vanished from the editor!

I have an issue in my web editor: the database vanished yesterday from my site. Even if I restore previous versions it did’t showing up anymore. I would be very greatful for your support ASAP as my database includes very important information related to my business.

Which database seems to have disappeared? You have 4 on your site. Can you describe the problem you experienced? Perhaps it isn’t related to a disappearing database?

If I go into editor and want to edit the database for instance Objects or Pictures in developer tools mode it doesn’t show me there any tables. I can do it only if I use live database. The sandbox unfortunately isn’t availabl for me to edit or even see those tables on my site.

Hi Asia:

OK well the data is still there :-).

Here are a couple of things to try.

  1. Use a different browser. If you use Chrome I have experienced that sometimes Chrome messes up and you need to close and open it or clear its cache to get things working again.
  2. Try using Safari if you were using Chrome, or Edge if you use Windows. Or vice versa!
  3. Try the old IT trick of rebooting your computer and log back in again.

Do let us know what browser you are using and if any of these work arounds help.

@stevendc Hi Steve, now I have another issue: when clicking on the objekts on the page called “AUCTIONS” it opens then the empty page with title “this page is not found” instead of taking me to the full description of the desirable object :o(

@support6772 Hi There. I do not see the problem you are seeing. One suggestion I might have would be to post a screen capture via youtube of the problem you are experiencing.

I don’t see an “objekts” on the page but you do have a dataset connected to OBJECTS. I am not sure what problem you are experiencing.

@stevendc Good morning! The problem is resolved. I think there was some issue with google chome over past days. Now all is working and I see all objects and all datasets in wix editor and live.

Hi Asia: I am not quite sure I understand. Are you talking about automated email after a form is submitted or attaching a gmail account to your site? Can I suggest you create a new post (if you have already give the link here) and explain why you are trying to do and what isnt working ? Who are you requesting email confirmation from?

I am unable to see my datasets on editor mode. They just vanished.
