Not really sure where to comment this, so this thread is the victim, but Wix Studio BLOWS. Bring back editor X. Holy cannoli I hate it SO much.

Is there anything in particular you’re struggling with?
Its not so much that it is a struggle as it is just stupid. Why would they change everything that works just so it looks diffferent? The fact that every time i want to change sizes on an element i now have to have extra clicks on a 3 dot menu? BEYOND stupid. We now have to hit however many extra buttons just to put an animation on an element? BEYOND stupid. AND the fact that it is named “Wix Studio” completely devalues the platform. “Oh you guys just use wix? I can do that for free and save my money”- a client’s response

I totally agree with you, there are insane changes at the level of the editor but also at the level of pricing plans of the CMS it’s a disaster.
They released an update for businesses, but in the end it seems that everything is done to disgust us and make us waste time!

Wix Studio is designed and developed to make creating responsive sites more intuitive for creators, with features like Scale Proportionally coming to components out of the box.
We also heard feedback from some users that still needed the Advanced Sizing options so based on the feedback provide the ability to enable Advanced Sizing across the site - Studio Editor: Setting the Size of Your Elements | Help Center | Wix.com. If you want to use it for all elements, it’s quicker than doing it for each element individually.
Your feedback about animations is great, and we’ll be sure to share it with the relevant teams.
In regards to the name, I can understand your point of view. That being said, Wix Studio is positioned as a platform for agencies and freelancers to create sites more efficiently and at scale. Perhaps explaining to clients the difference between Wix and Wix Studio, would help? Maybe along the lines of letting them know they can benefit from the baked-in tools like Stores, Bookings, Members Area, Pricing plans etc. while also benefiting from the responsive design that comes with Studio.
I’m sure there are others who will have advice on how to approach that point specifically.

Thank you for your feedback, indeed I am patient as no WIX developer but could you try to inquire for an approximate date or month for the release of the CMS update?
I’ve been waiting several months to launch a very big project but without this update, I couldn’t do it! So I’d like to be able to organize myself with even an approximate timeframe!
