Hello! I’m trying to figure out where my sales come from the most. In addition to options such as “Instagram” and “Google”, there is an option called “Direct”. What exactly is this traffic source?
Do they go online and type in my domain directly? So where did they get my domain? Could this data have been processed twice with Instagram and Google data?
Direct means the visitor arrived on your site without having clicked on the link of another referring site or search engine.

Direct usually means they pasted or typed the URL of your site into their browser, or they previously visited your site and saved it as a bookmark, which they clicked on to visit this time.
