Yall are so shady and so greedy.

I only need this subscription for one year and I DO NOT want to be charged for anything else.

I went to go turn off autorenewal and the only option that gives is to cancel the whole plan, effective immediately.

Keep in mind that if you choose to cancel, the following will occur immediately:

  • A free Wix domain will be assigned to your site
  • Your site will display Wix branding
  • Your site’s storage wil be limited to 500MB
  • Your site’s bandwidth will be limited to 1GB

    I only want to turn off autorenewal. On top of that what is this “To ensure uninterrupted service, you will be charged 14 days before the expiration date.???”

I’ll be gagged if yall make me pay another year without my consent.

Also, why is it that the free domain plan gives out my address on the internet?? After I paid for the whole dang yearly subscription you basically hold me at gunpoint to pay a little extra so my address isn’t leaked everywhere on the internet. I don’t have my address anywhere on the website. You got that information because I gave that to you privately, what the actual ****

The cancellation does not disconnect the domain “immediately”. It will all downgrade to the free plan on the date of expiration.

It’s not new. This has always been their renewal process.

I just had a similar thing happen, except that it happened 19 days before my contract was up. Wix’s support said that they autorenewals can happen anywhere between two to three weeks, and that mine had happend close to the three week period. Even more frustrating is that I did not recieve any sort of notification email, except for a series of Wix Upcoming Renewal emails from non legit email addresses that there was no way in heck I was opening. I am very frustrated as I just got billed $420 that I wasn’t expecting.
