Wishlist: Improved marketing tools (ATTN: Automations team, Workflows team, Segments team, Email marketing team)

The lack of proper integrated marketing tools keeps forcing me to choose other platforms where Wix would otherwise be a perfect solution.

Automations Team: Please give us the ability to REMOVE Labels with an automaton.

If we can programmatically add and remove labels then workflows and email campaigns can be created and the addition of a label can trigger a change in the email campaign, while the removal can trigger the removal from an email campaign or workflow.

Additionally, we would need the option of the application of a label, to trigger the removal of another: ex: Purchasing a product adds “Customer” label. There is also an automation that states when “Customer” label is added, it removes the previously applied label, “Pre-purchase Nurture”, and ceases any triggered emails/campaigns associated with the application of that label.

Ideally, we can turn the entire “workflows” area into something like you’d see on Active Campaign, where entire workflows are created with logic in a “tree” or “mind map” form

We also desperately need logic associated with the emails themselves, such as “Read? Yes or no?” so that if a lead or customer doesn’t read the previous email, we can retarget them to other nurturing sequences, as well as make decisions as to if we should stop sending emails of certain subjects to certain people. If they have opened it - they’ll continue down the campaign, if they opened and clicked - maybe they go down a third campaign path. Each shows a level of interest and intent, we need to be able to adapt to that interest and intent.

Campaign categories - that also give the ability to unsubscribe from that category alone. Create a segment that segregates people who have NOT opened the last X emails from that category, so that you can omit sending people mail they don’t want.

A “Page Analytics Linker” with more in-depth listening, such as button clicks. Since Wix has no “funnel” structure to speak of, if we can tie the analytics to 2 or more pages together in a group, we can effectively create a funnel of sorts, and we can define conversion rates.

Editor team - you’re part of this too! We need Login/Signup to be a page that can be tracked in analytics. We need to know who gets to that page and bails so we can adapt our copy and approach.

True A/B testing with analytics showing the results and graphs with average time spent, bounce rate, conversion rate, and exit rates.

Making beautiful sites is one thing, but you need the right tools - updated tools, to properly sell things on those beautiful sites.

These initial changes could make a big difference not only in the abilities of the Wix users, but in improving and maintaining email server reputation health.

On that - a “Spammy word checker” would probably help those DIYers who haven’t read up on email best practices. Those faux pas affect us all.

Thanks in advance!
