Hello,
Since I started working with WIX more than 3 years ago, I’ve always observed 1 problem in particular, the 504 errors or the famous “internal error” when querying the CMS databases.
In other words, WIX servers don’t respond all the time. This happens several times a month, especially on Sundays. Why doesn’t WIX have a redundant system, some errors last several hours, this poses a real problem for the user side, how am I supposed to manage this kind of error, some of my customers can no longer manage their data for several hours and who is ultimately responsible… And the worst thing is that the outages have been occurring over the last month or so, coincidentally at the same time as the preparation of WIX Studio, which has certainly required an overhaul of the server infrastructure…
Can you tell me when WIX is going to stabilize its servers with redundant systems to avoid outages? @noahlovell
Before asking me the question, it affects all my sites when the error occurs and I’m not the only one, some sites refer to WIX crashes and it happens very often that people complain of breakdowns with the database servers and therefore the impossibility of inserting, displaying… data.
It is possible to stabilize the servers, otherwise how would Instagram manage tens of millions of users a day without any downtime? WIX has far fewer users, yet 100 times more downtime for its database and servers!
Should I make a request on the roadmap or something else to get WIX to take into consideration this problem, which has been going on for several years and is becoming more and more prevalent?
