Wix Bookings – Booking With Plans Is Confusing and Customers Think They Already Reserved a Spot

Hi everyone,
I’m having a serious usability issue with Wix Bookings.

We allow booking only with pricing plans (trial, single entry, 4/8/12 entries).
Here’s the problem:

  1. A customer clicks Book Now on a class.

  2. Wix sends them into the plan purchase flow.

  3. They choose a plan (e.g., 4 entries), pay, and get a confirmation.

  4. They close the page thinking the class is booked — because all of this happened after pressing Book Now.

But in reality, they only bought the plan.
They still need to go back and book the class again using their newly purchased plan.

This is extremely confusing and we regularly have people showing up without actually being on the list, because they believed they completed the booking.

Does anyone know how to fix this or improve the flow?
I already found that enabling “Prompt buyers to redeem the plan after purchase” helps, but I’m looking for a more reliable or intuitive solution - people usually close the page before this loads.
