Wix Editor Team AMA (Ask Me Anything) August 6

I’ll make sure this question is passed on to the Wix Events team, as this isn’t related to the Wix Editor :innocent:

Absolutely - There are a lot of elements inside of Corvid that do not require a single line of code. Binding to databases, dynamic pages, etc - All of this can be done without writing any code. :slight_smile: There are a lot of online resources regarding corvid - and you can always jump into the corvid discussion here: https://www.wix.com/code/home/forum

@arnonk Thank you!

@cehajjdev No. I’m thinking of just a normal block calendar (set up in a grid with days of the weeks on top and dates in each boc. For a quick view of all events.

@sushantchitransh We have something in the works that I think you will really like. We don’t have a time frame as to when this will be available, but… it’s coming.

What kind of things can we expect in the very near future regarding the Wix Editor? Can you give us a sneak peak? (I know, it’s probably a question that you can’t answer)

For me personally I hope that the menu will get a huge update / upgrade with sub-sub-menu’s and mega-menu’s. Also dividers would be great!

This is a great group of questions - but some of this isn’t related (believe it or not) to the editor team. I’m going to rope in another resource to try to get this answered for ya!

Hi! I believe this can be created using Corvid. Here’s the reference link that will provide you with additional information.

This is one of the top contenders we’re considering as the next “Stylable Component” (after the Button we released for Beta last week). Definitely something we’re aware everyone wants.

@stevenjose That’s true, it’s possible with Corvid, but like repeaters, the new search bar and Wix Forms, it would be great if Wix come up with pre-programmed (mega)menu’s.

Great feature request - wrong team though. I will pass this along - Thanks David :slight_smile:

Thank Maria. I will relay all the requests to the relevant teams.

Specifically about gradient background and a gradient palette, where I’m that person - I can say we’re still considering the next batch of “Stylable Components” and Strip is definitely in the running.

@stevenjose @arnonk Thank you both for your reply! As @bymichiel mentioned a “pre-programmed” one would be great. Would save a lot of time!

Great question and feature request. I will relay to the Events/Booking team.

@brett-haralson Thanks, Brett!

I responded to a similar question above, but yes we definitely WANT to offer such a menu, even if we can’t commit to when just yet.

As a full-time Wix designer Developer, I’m wondering if it would be possible to have a special “developers” access to a clients account.This access would give FULL access to all parts of the editor including payments, etc…

a great feature for the editor would be a “design Copy” feature one that would copy fonts/colors/ shapes/ etc from one element to another. Any chance of this?

Just to clarify: do you want to copy styles from elements of the same type (ie, button to button) or elements of different types?

@arnonk I’m thinking same type (font with size color, etc), button to button, box to box.
