Wix harmony text element issue

I’m having trouble with text box element that disappear after editing the text. It doesnt go beneath any other containers or elements, but I am only able to select it through the layers tab, but that doesn’t matter because then I can not perform any usable function with it. This only happens on a single page, and I’d like to see if I can figure this out before just rebuilding.
Briefly explain what’s not working or where you’re stuck

Extra context
Anything else that might help - edge cases, screenshots, etc.

That’s page-level corruption, not a setting you’ve missed. Nothing in the Harmony
docs covers an element that sits in Layers but can’t be worked on, so there’s no
config toggle to hunt for.

Three things to rule out, all cheap:

Ctrl+click it on canvas (Cmd+click on Mac). If the box got absorbed into a group,
a normal click selects the group instead of the text element — which presents
exactly as “I can’t select it.”

In Layers, hit the More Actions icon next to the element and try Duplicate. If the
duplicate lands on canvas and behaves, move your content over and delete the
original. That’s your fastest route to not rebuilding the page.

Same menu, try Arrange. You’ve already ruled out overlap visually, but it’s one
click and it’s the documented control for stacking order.

If none of that moves it, escalate instead of rebuilding. There’s a known issue on
record titled “Elements Missing from Wix Harmony Sites, and Unable to Restore Site
History,” which Wix has marked resolved — but no resolution date is published, and
a resolved issue stops new cases without necessarily repairing pages already in a
bad state. Ask support directly whether your page is residual from it, and name the
issue when you do.

Give them the live site link and the page name. You left the site link blank, and
nobody can diagnose this without it. And don’t rebuild before they’ve looked —
rebuild and the broken state is gone, along with anything they could have
inspected.
