I’m currently using Wix Restaurants ‘Pick Up’ as a tool for customers to order food and drinks directly from their tables (currently in a beer garden due to social distancing guidelines). Frankly, its going well. Just have a note on the tables explaining to customers to ignore any mention of the word pick up.
Firstly, I believe Corvid is does not yet integrate with Wix Restaurants? Some basic tweaks would allow this the pick up feature to seamlessly work as a table ordering tool.
The biggest issue is customers having to type their details in every time they order, which is really impacting table re-ordering. I’ve set up ‘Express Checkout’, however as I understand it, this only works if your customer links Facebook? I’ve tried this out myself - If I link my facebook, complete an order and go back into the tool, I can see my Facebook picture, but none of my details are saved. When I tap the menu to the right and try to add card and contact details, it becomes unresponsive.
Am I doing something silly?
