Hey All, I need help - actually a lot :slight_smile:

Trying to achieve the below in EditorX but don’t know where to get started, please guide me as it looks complex and I don’t know where to start. Any tips would be really helpful for me.

  1. I have workflows (set of 5 to 8 steps, could be more) and in real-time user should be able to drag & change the order of steps.
    For example - 1st step can be dragged and placed after 3rd step. 2nd step can be moved to 8th etc.
    Correct sequence - Steps are in order

2. Also, there can be group formation, 10 members can be in a group. There should be an option to add group members - suggested to check membership video, will do that.
3. There should be a 3 dot icon placed in each step and if we click on that, there could be 5 options

a. Rename - To rename the step name

b. Add icon - 6 tabs
1st tab is Emoji (should have all emoji’s like we have in Discord, Microsoft Teams etc.),

  1. Duplicate - Duplicate a step name . If step name is assignment then duplicate should be assignment (copy) - Check the Step 1: its duplicated

  1. Delete - delete the step name

6. Also, if i click on a step - it goes to another page and has filter-by multiple options, sort-by multiple options, search options. How to achieve ?

Thanks for reaching out and for the patience with the reply. Some of these things like the drag-and-drop would probably require the use a custom element since there’s not a feature that would support that on the live channel.

From there, everything would then need to be built into the custom element since the main functionality requires it.

Thank you Roberto. Do you mean to say that everything has to be achieved using Velo. ? Nothing can be done in EditorX? Is that correct understanding.
For custom element, do i need premium plan as I’m using free plan now.

It depends. Some things like the click interactions could be done with Editor X to say open the Emoji, Upload, Link and being able to upload files could be done with content manager .

The main reason I suggested the custom element is that if you need the drag-and-drop functionality, I don’t think you wouldn’t be able to add that as a feature to the elements on the canvas. I’m not super well-versed in coding but you can ask in the Velo forum but from what I see it’s not possible.

As for the custom element, it would be necessary to have a domain and Wix ads removed .
