Contact form-remove the email requried field using wix code

I was wondering if there’s any option to remove the requried mark from a regular contact form using wix code? i want to mark this field as optional or to remove it.

Hay Yael,

The regular contact form has a set experience. You can only control it using the regular panels, Wix code does not add to it.

You can create Wix Code forms instead, if you need more custom options.

Thanks Yoav, I think I might build a custom one , i’m just struggeling with the connecting to email when submitted.

I am at the same stage. I created wix code form, but I don’t receive notification neither the person who submitted the form, and moreover, i tried the created form and submitted some info… but the data is not in database where it supposed to go :frowning:
