I initially set up WIX bookings so can choose a timeslot using the calendar etc.
However, the ‘checkout’ process - i.e, when the ‘payment’ page comes up on WIX in the WIX bookings, it does not display all the information in the way that I want.
I wish, therefore, to be able to redirect the customer to my STRIPE checkout page, but there is no way of doing this using a html frame in the page, as WIX bookings seems to be ‘one page’ all together (on the code, comes up with the default of scheduler1). So there doesn’t seem to be a way to link the customer buying a specfic service on a specific day and time that then, on clicking, routes them to my STRIPE checkout page that I have created specifically for the product they are trying to buy.
If this is not possible with WIX bookings app, how else can I integrate some sort of calendar, for each service, that the client HAS to click on (i.e, choose a date and time according to the availability I set on the calendar for staff) before the button becomes ‘clickable’? I tried adding google calendar and using code to add an ‘onClick’ event - so that the ‘buy now/book now’ button would only be visible to the customer once they have selected a time and date, but there is no ‘onClick’ event on the developer code of the google calendar for me to be able to create this functionality.
Would it be better for me to scrap the wix bookings app altogether and use some sort of work around?
